The DECKHAND® attachment from LaValley Industries has been engineered to prioritize safety during load handling and placement, eliminating the need for ground crew to be in close proximity to moving pipes, poles, or road mats. This system is built to operate safely in all weather conditions, including wind, mud, snow, and ice.
Modular in design, the DECKHAND® system comprises a main head unit that can be used in conjunction with a variety of interchangeable arms. The head unit can be mounted on any excavator brand, utilizing the excavator's auxiliary hydraulics to power the DECKHAND® system safely and efficiently. The interchangeable arms enable operators to securely lift, lower, rotate, and tilt pipes, poles, casings, or road mats, providing complete control throughout the process. The arms can also grip effectively from off-center positions, making it easier to maneuver in areas with limited access.
DH4 is an innovation that allows precision load handling and placement that negates needing a ground crew working around moving poles, pipes or road mats and works in ALL weather conditions.
